Hello there

Tomorrow, Nick and I will start driving to Anchorage, AK.  We packed up our apartment yesterday and we're spending today with family and friends in Lansing.  Before leaving Grand Rapids, my Alaskan husband took advantage of the abundant snow and warmish weather to build an igloo.  It looked a little too cold and wet for me, but I'm kind of a pansy when it comes to that sort of thing.  I did help with one layer, and  I took care of the photo-documentation :-)

When my brother Nate got home (he kind of lives with us during the week), he got caught up in the spirit of the thing and went out to build a pair of snowmen with Nick.  I came out just in time to make their faces.  Pretty cute huh?  We thought the neighbor kids would be thrilled with the thing, but I think we actually had more fun with it than they did.  Maybe they're scared of the snowmen...
